From Wrench to Woodshop: Building the Lexus Camp Platform

I'm a mechanic, not a woodworker. Give me a torque wrench and a stuck bolt and I'm at home — give me a circular saw and a sheet of plywood and I'm learning as I go. That's exactly what happened when I decided to build a sleep platform for the back of the Lexus. No shortcuts, no kit, just measuring twice (sometimes three or four times) and figuring it out one cut at a time.
